This year GAINSCO Auto Insurance’s ® “Texas Edition” show car circuit was about as big as they come! Traveling the state to work with GAINSCO partner agents throughout the month of May has even spilled into June. This kicked off a two-month non-stop stretch of travel and show car events that I am still in the middle of working. With a state that ranks no.2 in the USA by land mass, that is also GAINSCO’s home state, it’s no surprise that it was a huge task for the show car program to fit in as many visits as possible. This latest show car circuit was only possible with a Texas sized helping-hand from GAINSCO Auto Insurance, including Territory Managers, Business Development Associates (BDAs), Marketing, Sales, and even some help from the Customer Service department!

All the help was greatly appreciated, and made a serious impact on GAINSCO’s partner agents! One example is pictured above at Cardozas Insurance in Grand Prairie TX. With the help of Sales Manager Audrey Douglas, and Customer Service Manager Bertha Rodriguez, TM Devin Bryant, and the agency, we were able to conceive an animated cartoon-based theme for the show car event. It featured Mickey and Minnie Mouse, a friendly clown that did amazing face paintings, and balloon art to go along with the 2015 GAINSCO Racing GTS Hyundai Genesis Red Dragon on display at Cardozas Auto Insurance. Everyone participated, including me, sporting the superhero cape in the background. The busy event pulled in over 70 new leads for the agency!

The GAINSCO BDAs getting some much needed face time with their Oklahoma agents at the IIAOK convention in Norman OK!

Donahue Insurance in Mineola TX, who has had show car events before, helps Territory Manager Anna McDaniel work her first show car event!

Cooper Insures of Ennis TX has some serious art skills! What an awesome Red Dragon painting!

Sweet Rides

The monstrous Get Motivated Juvenile Boot Camp Dodge 2500 known as “The Beast” stops in at A-MAX Insurance’s show car event in Denton TX.

This  beautiful 1970 C10 short bed fleet side with its big block 454 Chevy engine rolled up to our Stephenville TX event to admire the 2015 GAINSCO Red Dragon.

Good Eats

Only in … San Antonio TX on Cinco de Mayo could you get a delicious giant authentic “Michelada” with your meal!

Only In… DFW could we thread the needle and narrowly avoid severe thunderstorms while having a huge event at Cardozas Auto Insurance, Grand Prairie TX.

It was awesome to be in San Antonio TX for Cinco de Mayo! I stayed right next to the Historic Market Square, which was very alive with festivities like live music, heritage performances, arts and crafts as well as authentic food!

For Memorial Day Weekend some TX mountain bike buddies and I drove 10 hours to NM for three days of non-stop adrenaline pumping, gravity-fed downhill shredding at Angel Fire Bike Park. Needless to say, I am hooked, even after a last day crash that has left me nursing some bruised ribs.
