The Red Dragon returned to the top of the charts today at home in Texas, when Jon Fogarty and Wolf Henzler finished second in the afternoon practice session.  All indicators were pointing in a positive direction in the first official practice, both Wolf and Jon were optimistic about the cars handling.  Unfortunately, the session was cut short when a drive flange broke forcing the Red Dragon to return to the garage.

                                        Position           Time                Speed

Practice 1:                   15th                   1:50.272          99.59 mph

Practice 2:                   2nd                   50:38.273        97.24 mph

Jon Fogarty: “It’s been a struggle but we’ve been chipping away at it with small changes. Small changes add up and it feels good to be at the pointy end today.  No points for practice, but we’re off to a good start.  We’re definitely missing all of our friends from GAINSCO here and keeping them on our mind all weekend.”

Wolf Henzler: “The track is a lot of fun and I like it.  It wasn’t so good for us at Utah so it feels good to be off to a stronger start here.  The team has been working hard and Jon showed that effort in this second session.”
