Alive and well in 2019

The GAINSCO Auto Insurance Show car program is alive and well in 2019! We are moving into the future with plans to carry on the torch of GAINSCO Racing’s storied heritage and history with all racing fans for many years to come! From our marketing and sales teams to partner agents across the U.S., there is excitement for the opportunity to host a GAINSCO Red Dragon race car…So much so that we had a “winter” show car circuit that spanned from Georgia and South Carolina over to Arizona. There were even plans to double back for an early March insurance convention, but it was ultimately decided to conserve the wear-and-tear and resources.

We were prepared for the colder winter but luckily threaded the “weather” needle and avoided any frigid conditions. Pictured above (credit to Scuderia Southwest online album), of course, a beautiful sunrise, that is shining light on some 900+ amazing automotive machines at the 6th Annual Concours In the Hills collector car show in Fountain Hills, AZ. This was an amazing event, and all the credit goes to GAINSCO Territory Manager Taylor Jerbasi and her AZ sales team that planned and worked on this event for nearly a year! TM Taylor is a local in the area and had watched the growth and mission of the event gain more attention for its cause-to raise money for Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Taylor also invited the local partner agency, The Insurance Hopper, to co-host the event. There was a lot of love for our GAINSCO Racing custom built, one-of-a-kind, Pirelli World Challenge GTS Hyundai Genesis race car!

The Fuerza Latina team in Sugar Hill GA knows how to put on a show car event! They got the call last minute and brought in the cavalry!

Oasis Insurance in Tucson AZ made sure to sell GAINSCO policies during their show car event. This little girl is showing off the proof for grandpa!

A family affair! TM Derek King and his boys working hard for Robinson Insurance at their show car event at the JD Byrider dealership.

The whole crew at Premier Auto Center in Tucson AZ, who sends all their customers to our partner agent, Buy Low Cost Insurance.

Sweet Rides

The “Rambo Lambo” is a LM002 off-road truck built for military applications and has a Lamborghini V-12 engine. My son and his friends were impressed.

Other cool race cars were also at the Concours in the Hills: A pair of vintage Indycars, a 1966 Brawner Hawk and a 1984 All American Racers Eagle.

Good Eats

Buy Low Cost Insurance in Tucson AZ knows our weak spot, made-from-scratch carne asada burritos, salsa and guacamole! They had a waiting line all day!

At our other show car event in Tucson AZ, Oasis Insurance treated everyone to a unique local favorite, frozen fruit drinks simply called “Eegees”

Travels

It came to my attention that my family did not know about the dine-in Chick-fil-A Dwarf Houses only found in Georgia, so we made a stop! They even serve beef and kids get their own special entrance!

February Winter storm breaks 100-year-old snowfall record in Flagstaff AZ, while dropping snow over the whole state! Of course I took full advantage at the Snowbowl ski resort. It was snowing, zero wind, and tons of fluffy powder-it was amazing!
