GAINSCO Auto Insurance®, which insures motorists in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia, began its affiliation with motorsports in 2005 to increase marketing efforts among insurance professionals in targeted sales regions. Focusing on key customers and business partners, GAINSCO initiated its successful “Are You Driven?” campaign to enhance brand awareness and advance its distribution strategies. Over 6,000 business partners have been entertained at regionally relevant races in the last twelve years while publicity and media coverage generated for GAINSCO has greatly increased the company’s exposure.

The success of the motorsports sponsorship has been credited with contributing in part to similar corporate success for GAINSCO. After annual sales of $48.9 million in 2004, GAINSCO reached $263 million in revenue in 2015. The company has been able to maintain corporate and branding strength in recent years despite the changing auto insurance landscape.
